hujaj_1As the Hujjaj prepared on their journey towards the Holiest Land on earth, Bilal campus at Temeke organized a farewell program for the entire community.

The program began with a brief introduction on Haj, comparing it to Qiyamah, whereby Maalim Yasin Iddi discussed on verses from Suratul Hajj that talks about the events of Qiyamah.

This was followed by an address by the administrator Mrs. Siddika Karim, who presented with Imam Zamin to all three Hujjaj; Mudeer of Hawza Shk. Amiri Kasonso, Teacher from Primary Section, Ms. Khadija Ally- sponsored by AFED and HAJ CARAVAN respectively.

Ms. Batulbai Nathani, an Admin Staff is among the Hujjaj this year travelling to Makah and Madinah, she was also presented with Imam Zamin.


The Administrator wished them good health and safe journey, she urged them to make all efforts to help each other and to spend their time in ibada'at. She also stressed the importance of visiting the holy places to reflect on the holy personalities who sacrificed their lives for Islam and for humanity, Insha'allah this will be a spiritual upliftment for all and a good learning experience by meeting people from different backgrounds and from different parts of the world.

Prayers were made and duas were recited for the Hujjaj and all participants who were present in the program. Teachers and children lined up to individually bid farewell to the lucky people.
