The Administrator expressed need for good computers for the Hawza, in order to enhance the student's research and knowledge base, both secular and religious; whilst at the same time provide the Hawza students with much needed IT skills.

bmmt_wf_4The delegation then visited the Primary School classes, where children put together a show for the visitors.

The delegation had an opportunity to meet with some of the Zainabiya Child Sponsored Students, Bilal Sponsored and Orphans Students.

There are currently 415 students in the Bilal Primary School at Temeke Complex.

The delegation observed that there was a dire need for financial assistance to support the efforts by Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania and its various activities in promoting education and social services, and inculcating Islamic and Family values at the grass roots. The goals were also discussed with the delegation and the discussions included exchange ideas to further enhance and develop the work being done by the School, Hawza, Teachers Training and Madressah.

Finally, a visit was made to the Ahlulbayt Teachers Training College at the Complex.   The College has 99 students, comprising of Muslim and Non-Muslim Students, with religion (Islamic) being a mandatory subject in the College.

The Campus staff appreciated The WF delegation for dedicating time to see first-hand the work being undertaken at the School.

Lack of playing ground for the schools is one of the biggest challenges faced by BMMT at Temeke, this is one of the requirements of the Ministry of Education which should be given a priority, seemingly this will help the students to keep themselves physically fit and occupied during their free time.

The delegation spent 6 hours at the campus, we are grateful to the Br. Sadiq Datoo and his team for the visit and on the agreed action plan for both the WF and BMMT to further the cause and support the initiatives of BMMT.
