FREE EYE CAMP AT PANGANI ORGANIZED BY
THE BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA - JULY 2017

The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania in collaboration with BETA Charitable Trust of Essex, U.K, and with the support of other Well-Wishers held a free eye and health camp at Pangani, in Tanga region from 7th July to 9th July 2017.

 
Pangani River meets the Indian Ocean - a very scenic area.  There is a ferry which takes you to the other side of Pangani and the road leads to Sadaani Game Park and to Bagamoyo.
 
The camp was held at Pangani Primary School and the surgeries were carried out at the Pangani General Hospital.    The Hon. Member of Parliament (MP) of Pangani Hon. Jumaa Hamidu Aweso was also present during the eye camp.

SEMINAR

B.M.M-Tanga as in previous years organized a nine day Seminar towards the end of the month of Shab’an 1438 A.H. for its Muballigheens (Teachers).

A total of 56 teachers participated in the Seminar which started on 16th May 2017 with the opening address by Shk. Muhammad Mnyamisi of Zahrau Islamic Education -Tanga and was concluded on the 24th May 2017 by the Chairman of Bilal Tanga Alhaj Hasnain Hassanali, who gave a closing speech.

Some of the topics covered during the Seminar included Work ethics, Computer skills, Akhlaq (tazkiyatun-nafs), Fiqh (Zakat, Khums etc.)

BILAL TANGA CARRIES OUT DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD STUFF

Once again Bilal Tanga carried out distribution of foodstuff to its members during the month of Rajab 1438 A.H. As many areas of Tanga region are still facing acute shortage of essential foodstuff, Bilal Tanga through its generous donors decided to carry out this distribution.


A total of 1150 shia families benefited with each family getting 25kg maize flour, 10kg rice and 5kg wheat flour respectively.
