A mission with the focus of empowering the Women in the rural areas completed the training in 15 rural centers.

As a way forward a three-day seminar was conducted in Mombasa at the Bilal hall from the 16th - 18th, February 2012. The objective of the seminar was to bring women from all groups together, to share their ideas and experiences, find solutions to their problems and create awareness.

pds_bmmk_2Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya in conjunction with two scholars from International Institute of Islamic studies (IIIS) namely Sheikh Hadi Valipour and Sheikh Seyed Mostafa Daryabari conducted a ten day seminar at the Bilal hall from the 9th - 19th of January 2012.

Topics like the review of teaching methodologies, assessment & evaluation, professional ethics, quran and hadith, muamalat, tarekh & caliphate, pillars of iman among others were discussed during the seminar.

bmmk_eye_camp_2Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya in conjunction with Kwale District Eye Centre organized yet another eye camp on Monday 23rd January 2012 to assist patients who were in need of these services.

People of different ages with various eye problems gathered early in the morning at Ahlul Kisaa Centre, Kichakamkwaju with rays of hope.

Some people from villages of Shimoni's, Anzuwani, Kibuyuni, Wasini, Mkwiro, Mwambao etc. had traveled long distance to attend the free eye camp.
