death of Syed Muhammad Baqir Al Hakim son of tthe late Ayatullah Syed
Mushsin Al Hakim (Marjah before Ayatullah Al Khui), in a car bomb
that exploded outside the Haram of Imam Ali (A.S) in Najaf on Friday

Africa Federation, a Regional Federation member of the World Federation, has been informed
of the nomination of two candidates for the Office of The President of the World
Federation for the term
2003– 2006. The Africa Federation is
hereby requesting all its members to organise an election
among their membership and to submit to the Secretariat the exact number of votes cast by
their
bonafide registered members, giving a breakdown of the exact number of votes cast in
respect of
each candidate.
